I have had such a whirl wind of a year so far…

We have had many highs and many lows so far in 2013. We have welcomed a new addition to our family whom we are all head over heals in love with and we have said good bye to far too many special people to us. With the last being one of my most favourite ladies not even 15 hours after the birth of my daughter. We have laughed and we have cried.

As I was slowing down with my sessions and patiently waiting the arrival of our daughter I began to think about a fresh start for this company. This August will be two years in operation and I cannot explain how overwhelmed I am with the love and support of my clients.

So here it is…

a new website, a blog (hopefully an entertaining one), new pricing and packages, and lots of education this year.

Just before I called it quits I decided to get mentored by a wonderful photographer in the states. Her name is Julie Paisley. She made me realize that everything I have done so far was a messy jumble of indecisiveness.  I didn’t have consistency in my image. She made me think about what I wanted to bring to this over saturated market of photography and what made me stand out. What did I want my clients to get out of a session with me… so I began with trying to come together and focus myself.

The next year or so I will be deciding if I want to specialize. I love me some babies, I love.. love, and most of all I love kids.

I do know that I want to give you guys the kind of images that can transport you back to that moment in your life. The picture of your three year old’s mischievous grin brings you right back to those days and makes the memories of those moments vibrant. I want the picture of your new baby to bring back the wonderful and fresh smell that the have when they are first born. But most of all I want the images I take to make your heart warm and make you lips curl up into a smile.

So things are gong to be changing… slowly but surely.his is my first change. My website….
