What a beautiful day.
The weather was perfect (from a photographers point of view).
The setting is gorgeous.
And the couple are madly in love with each other.
Enter Frank and Emilee.
Emilee contacted me last year about shooting their wedding. I had already booked the number of weddings for the year that I had wanted and had initially said no. She was so eager to book me that she asked if she switched the date if I would be able to do it. So i asked her what her wedding was going to be like. Once Emilee described it… I fell in love. It was a dream wedding. Beautiful, intimate, outdoors and almost every detail had meaning to it. It was about love, not about the decor or the dress or the hair, it was about the bride and groom and their closest family and friends.
I met up with Frank and Emilee in Smoky Lake to do their engagement pictures. The picked me up and we drove around in Frank’s pick up truck. I instantly knew this was meant to be. they drove me to the different site of their wedding and to this beautiful barn that we took some of their pictures at.
The wedding day.
Emilee was beautiful in her lace gown that was simple but so classic and Frank was dashing in his suspenders.
The ceremony was held on Franks grandparents land overlooking the river and the reception on Frank’s dads farm surrounded by the first field of canola that Emilee planted herself.
Frank and Emilee… thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of this very special day.
