Project Love Gallery | Edmonton Family Photographers
This is a personal project very near and dear to my heart, inspired by my Oma. I created this project after several difficult years of losing people who were close to me. Looking back, I discovered I didn’t have any images of me with the family who was so close to me as we went through our family crises together and as they neared the end of their lives. The last picture I have with my Oma where she was coherent enough to know who I was, is from my Grade 12 graduation. Most people may think, ‘why would I want to remember this?’. But my approach is, it’s what happened, it’s the now. Celebrate the life that is there. My Oma was such a special person to me, I would give anything to have one more picture with her, where her eyes twinkled because she was with me.
With this in mind, I decided to gift free sessions to families who are in need, who are in crisis, who may not want to remember the hard time now, but when they have gone through the hardest part will look back and be grateful for them.
Interested in a session? Please apply via the contact form. I accept a limited number of applicants per month.
