I am so grateful for my clients… not only do you guys support me in my business you refer me like crazy. And for this I am grateful.

I was so pumped for my first session back after Emma… and it was one of my fav session types. Cake smash!

My favourite thing about cake smashes is you never know what is going to happen. I always do a non messy session before the actual smash and its really funny to see the personality of the child. I always try to predict what is going to happen when that cake comes out. Most of the time i am surprised that I am completely wrong with what actually happens. so in my cake smash sessions, once we are done with some nice not covered in cake pictures we set up for the smashing! mom gets baby ready and I get the set ready. then enters the cake.

the next part is my favourite… I have had kids cry and getting their hands dirty, crawl slowly up to it to see what the heck it is,  some cautiously look at mom before they dig into it to make sure it is ok, some i cant get into position fast enough to get their first bite, and some go in face first to really experience the cake.

So miss E Elyse was a little doll, but was super serious. I pulled all of my tricks out of my bag and i think I  might have gotten one smile. Then enters the cake. And she was interested in it for about 5 minutes and thats it.
