Life goes by so fast, and so many things happen that I think photography is a nice way of reliving the day. I want my pictures to bring back the smell of your newborn, the butterflies in your stomach on your wedding day and the sheer joy of watching your children play and just be kids.
So, now that you know what my photography is about, here are some interesting things about me… 10 random facts!
1. I love the colour blue (weirdly it’s my daughter Abby’s favourtite colour too!)
2. I was a special education teacher once upon a time. I loved this job and it really prepared me for motherhood.
3. I love to laugh, and will randomly quote “Seinfeld.”
4. Not only do I run my photography business, but I also help my husband run his business while taking care of our two kids.
5. I am in the small percentage of fortunate women who get to stay at home with their children.
6. I hate riding on quads or when people drive fast.
7. I really have a short attention span and get really excited. Sometimes a little too excited.
8. Ice cream and I are the best of friends.
9. I just learned how to drive standard.
10. I’m a jeans-shirt-and-ponytail kind of girl but I am dying to be a heels-and-dress girl… sigh.
